As I had no plans that weekend (dumped and heartbroken, remember?), I decided to curl up with my laptop and read the whole thing. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of gimmicky junk. It was gentle and persuasive, and it had plenty tips and tricks for me to try. It also had some great advice that helped me to cope with my grieving.
I think what surprised me the most was not that it had good information, but that it was varied. It didn’t just offer a few lists of things on how to get your ex boyfriend back. The Result
Well, I am not back with my ex boyfriend. However, he has been taking my calls, and we met up the other night for a long talk about what happened. The methods in Magic of Making Up worked to both calm me enough to think, and opened up the lines of communication.
We both agreed that we don’t want to jump back into things. He admitted that he freaked out because he felt like the relationship was moving too fast, and he was scared about being hurt after a prior marriage that ended very badly.
